Experienced Metal Fabricators

Mon To Friday 8 am to 5 pm (42 Hrs per week)
28 days holiday a year


Fabricator/Welder

Experienced Fabricator/welder required for immediate start for Manchester-based security company, manufacturing all types of commercial and domestic gates, automated gate systems, railings, handrails, barriers, bollards, and staircases.

Work includes:
Lifting metal lengths to bench
Marking out
Cutting out
Drilling
General building duties
Working on own and in a team
Keeping area clean and tidy
Using cutting machine and drill presses after training
Using stacker truck license preferred

Both in-house and site work will be involved and applicants must be fully conversant with marking out, MIG welding and electrode welding. A clean driving license and CSCS card would be required.

Salary negotiable depending upon experience


Metal fabrication Trainee. Mon to Fri 8 am to 5 pm (42 hrs per week)

Looking to recruit a Trainee fabricator/welder (preferably with some work experience in the industry or building industry) required for immediate start for Manchester-based gate company, manufacturing all types of commercial and domestic gates, automated gate systems, railings, handrails, barriers, bollards, and staircases.

Work includes:

Cutting out
Drilling
General building duties
Working on own and in a team
Keeping area clean and tidy

Both in-house and site work will be involved

Salary negotiable for the right person


Trainee Gate Installer

As a Trainee Gate Installer, you will be responsible for the groundworks and gate installation of handcrafted wooden and metal gates.

Duties for the Trainee Gate Installer
• Responsible for carrying out groundworks
• Responsible for carrying out gate fitting, cabling, and installation of automation systems for gates and doors.
• When necessary, to work in the workshop in assisting with the manufacture of timber gates or preparing timber for the site.
• Proactively organize site operations in view to see jobs through to completion in the most efficient and effective way possible.
• To be able to work to deadlines in view of ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times by being polite and helpful to customers and other people on site.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Must hold a current driving license
Must demon straight willingness to train.
